Poetry Buffet Anthology Reading. And did I mention my daughter has a book?
Nov. 16th – Christian Unity Baptist Church Harvest Fest at 2 pm. Are you ready for the Harvest? Bring your friends and family to this event for the spirit. Activities for all ages.
Nov. 20th – Curating the Lineage of Kalamu ya Salaam at the Words and Music Festival at 6:30 pm.
I have the honor of curating an event to celebrate one of New Orleans's most influential Black authors.
Nov. 22nd - Poetic Reflections on “Captive State: Louisiana and the Making of Mass Incarceration.” Sponsored by the Historic New Orleans Collection. Several poets were asked to respond to the Captive State exhibit. Those poems, including mine, will be revealed at this reading. Also, check out Lifelines Poetry Project.
Nov. 22nd – Curating the Collective Fashion and Poetry Tribute to Frankie Beverly at 8:30 pm.
